There's gotta be more to life!

Oh my blog, how I miss theee….I actually wanted to update it, a lot of things have happened and I will try to share it with you in the coming days. I guess the most pivotal is visiting home 3 times within the past 4 months. The place where I belong and love is real. It’s really surprising, even our dogs were mesmerized with my sudden chance. I guess it comes with the age…lol or should I say I become part of the animal kingdom with the highest stage of brain surgery…mature..lol. As you grow old spending time with your family matter most. Life is short, this is the best way to live the so called life. Along with those long home vacations which mostly spent at home and the beach, I was able to write some sensible in  a most acceptable manner that my 16 gig brain cells can do. 1. Say Thank you a lot. This is truly one of the most powerful, underrated phrases in the English language. It packs a heck of a punch, encompassing positivity and impact in two little syllables. ...

Nacpan Beach El Nido Palawan

It’s been two months that rain keep on saying Hi and hello! So lagi tayong ito ako! basang basa sa ulan! at baha-mas island! For the fashion goers, it’s perfect for layering and scarf-a-day-ootd. Thou, I can only enjoy this kind of weather during bed time and rest day. Which I cocoon myself all day, sleep and enjoy a cup of joe then back to bed without worrying my electricity bill for the next month. Kasi malamig na:) Yes, sleep is a luxury for me. With the kind of work I have. So pardon me. I’m done with all those night out booze and doing nothing until wee hours…I’m a retired bitch or should I say I’m giving myself a favor or it comes with age..lol With this gloomy weather, let me bring you sunshine by sharing my Nacpan beach El Nido Palawan adventure with my brother! I know, we all wish for a sunny weather these days. So I have a reason to post it:) So if you’re wedging your own island for your next summer ganap adventure count in the Philippines 7100+ archipelagic chal...

Rainy days get me down!

And just like that, summer dream is over. Hello rainy days and hello month of August. For some reason, I feel better and enjoy my life more when it’s raining just enough to make me cover up with my favorite white crisp blanket. I can relax at night nor day time. I can grab more sleep with what my body need. With the rainy season, part of me loves it. It’s all about cocooning but I also get nervous during heavy rains falls and strong winds. I’m worried with the flooding, brownout and most especially my family back home. My home town is always hit by the storm.  For now, I'm happily embracing the rainy season it brings with some of my favorite things to do:) Body Oil I switch body moisturizer creams to body oil. I love using Neutrogena body oil. It’s so sheer that it vanishes into shower damp skin leaving it soft and silky. It glides easily to the skin. The formula is so light and sheer. Face moisturizer I been loyal to this brand...

Let it go!

Yes, I went away for an extended holiday with my love…this blog with the full intention just to give more time for myself, to enjoy every moment of so called life and to straighten up some little issues. I don’t know exactly what happened, except that I was literally in a different world and I was having a good relationship with my bed. It was soo beautiful. To be honest, I did not feel like touching my laptop. I felt out of groove, out of touch with reality.  My depression wouldn't go away. I don’t want to simply post an excuse...“I just don’t have time” the lazy procrastination monster.  I knew there were things to be taken care of, I was even questioning if there was a purpose to it all.   This post is probably really boring. I think its okay, it’s not like I have a professional blog right? I can choose to be a little self-indulgent:) I was scared to look at my blog. Fearing all the fellow bloggers have given up on me.  It’s no fun without having supp...

Run in a dome!

Oh my blog how I miss theee….I actually wanted to update it, a lot of things has happened that are worth sharing but I guess I was so lazy. Work still eats a big chunk of my time. I’m not complaining! I love my job:)  It pays my bills. My sister was also in town and stayed with me for a whole month in my little box rented apartment. So I have to make sure I have food! So a trip to grocery every other day is a must.  She is such a monster, a morning person. She needs to have breakfast if not, she turn into dungeons. It was a test of physical, mental and emotional strength. She broke my monthly allowance. For the month she stay with me, she though me one thing, to eat good food…healthy food. She knows that I’m living a not-so-exemplary lifestyle. If I have seen this coming, I could have just close my door. Leave a note. I’m on vacation. Go and find a place for yourself…lol Well, I’m just human with a bigger heart than my mouth.  I’ve welcome her with boxes of J...

Hello 2014!

How is it January 11 already? I haven’t written anything yet. Where did my last month of 2013 go? All I've done so far was eliminate junk on my apartment. I've also been cleaning up my files in digital world and edit unnecessary things. This year, I would like to practice minimalism. I want to live frugally, sustainably and naturally.  Own less. live More-sticking to the essential. Christmas is all about merry making but then it was hard for our family to celebrate it. Knowing that we've just lost our father. The one who love the season, who put up our simple tree and prepare the holiday dinner. My family spent the days leading up to New Year with our family house. We planned to stay at my sister house fronting the beach but things change and weather was not good so we decided to stay home. Dec 22 with my sister,  we decided to take a bus ride heading home since were bringing two big boxes and lots of stuffs. I no longer want to pay triple than my airfare so I ...
