Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a lovely day. Christmas is amazing but I know it’s also horrible time for many. Sorry if I ruin that Christmas-lovely feeling:) I just don’t want anyone of you readers to think, that you are alone to not have that perfect day. So for now dont browse or read your favorite blogs. Remember that it’s so easy to run a blog and only show the “perfect world”.
I know Christmas is something everything seems so “perfect” and my family back home is not the perfect one, I think a lot of people who are alone and have issues at home. I know there are so many.  So don’t feel like you are the only one who is not having the perfect day with the perfect gift. You’re not.
With all this perfect and imperfect things with Christmas, I will still be the person who loves this time of the year. Even if I haven’t always been like that…Well I could continue forever.

Merry Christmas…my loves!

Christmas only comes once and it is the most wonderful time of the year. I remember back days, I would start counting as it head towards the magical day.

This days, weeks before Christmas is stressful day.The gift shopping and heavy traffic! but no matter what It’s time to share and express our gratitude to everyone that has crossed our lives from the slightest of instances to the greatest of purposes.

We give gifts because we wish to show appreciation for another person. Whether or not you receive back or if your gift is of great monetary value. For us as a christians, it can be a reflection of the gift given by God to man, which is at the heart of the celebration as we know it.

perfect for my mama dogs:)
for my 3 little niece:)
ready to be sent back home and tomorrow it will be under our Christmas tree:)
Yes! I'm done! it took me 4 visits to the mall to finish gift shopping for my family:)
now time to create my own wish list so they can start sending gifts to
But then again remember that Happiness is not about having the hottest gadget,
sleekest new vehicle or receiving a luxe gift.

Happiness and joy are about treasuring family and friends and relationships.
Life is Good!

Year End Party!

Time flies so fast and we are about to bid goodbye to 2012. There are two ways to look at the changes happening. You can think of it as good-bye or you can think of the way I am: This is really HELLO:)
Last week we had our Company Christmas Party at Republiq Superclub. For me holding a Christmas Party is one way of reminding staff that they are part of a common endeavour.

Thou we all know that work Christmas Party can present some embarrassing moment act but Christmas party means so much more!

For one it’s talked about for the entirely of the following year with stories and hoes which never fail to impress. This all means the Christmas Party has done its job well! Wag kayong umarte for once nag lasing kayo ng bongga at feeln mo party mo! Hahahaha! Or nag ala dancing with the stars ka or on the floor with J.Lo! Hmp!

Simbang Gabi: Dawn Mass

Christmas in the Philippines is the world’s longest Christmas Season. It can mean one of many things: Christmas carols played every corner, Christmas lights twinkles all over the city, endless family reunions, traffic jam and shop till you drop days. Though there is definitely one thing you need to experience: Simbang Gabi!

Simbang Gabi is a Filipino tradition that translates into “Night Masses ” or “Midnight Mass.” It’s one of the longest and most popular among Philippine traditions. These Night Masses, or Masses at dawn is a nine day series of masses at Catholic churches where the mass begins at dawn (around 4am). For nine days, before Christmas, people would wake up in the middle of the night to go to church. Churches and streets would fill up with people.

First day: Simbang Gabi at Don Bosco Church Makati

After the mass you can enjoy Filipino dilicacies. located within the church left side/infront
of parking lot owned and managed by the church
Puto Bungbong:) freshly baked!
Suman malagkit, pichi pichi, halaya and leche plan are being sold outside the church:)
Taho: fresh Silken tofu
They also have thier own bakeshop!
It is noteworthy that Simbang Gabi tradition continues regardless of where we are. What is important is what inside our hearts, a profound meaning to it, something about our faith in God.
Simbang Gabi is celebrated during the advent season, we are actually requested to prepare and be watchful for the coming of the Messiah. Preparation would entail good deeds, not limiting it to the family circle but to everyone, especially those in need
I know it is difficult to be holy these days, and I for one is struggling very hard to be good.
Let's try to exert our best efforts for a little change:)
I wish you all a happy and meaningful Advent!
Life is good!
