Yes, its holiday season, happy days for most of us, some ticking off our shopping list, decorations and filled up fridges with food but before that let’s take a moment and share our time for a true meaning of Christmas.
Last November 28 I was able to visit the CRIBS Foundation located in Marikina. An outreach program by the company I'm currently working which they held every year.
Over 35 years, CRIBS (Create Responsive Infants By Sharing) has been changing the lives of abandoned, surrendered, neglected, and abused infants and children. Creating a haven where hope for the future can thrive.
What began with volunteers – two Lutheran Missionary wives who took the initiative to help five sick babies – has now become one of the leading child care agencies licensed by the DSWD.

I have no idea on what to expect. All my thought that we are just going to visit an Orphan, we arrived at around 10 in the morning. We first gave all the goods to the office and then we proceeded. We entered a room full of babies, ages 1 year and below. As we entered, we are all greeted with angelic voices calling “mama”.
Babies literally came rushing towards us asking to be carried. A baby boy approached me and hugged me and just stayed with me. At that very moment my heart melts. These kids need human touch than we do (touch therapy). All they want is to be touched, held and fondled.
Since these babies needed all the love they can get, I tried to share what I can.
So whenever I’m idle, the images and smiles of these babies kept flashing. I guess I have learned to love them and I hope you do too. Love the children who don’t have all the love in the world. Love the children whom other people have forsaken.
And even if you think they couldn’t love you back, just think again, and realize: they hold on to you like you’re everything they had. If that isn’t loving you back, then what is?
Luke 6:38
"38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
