Summer Love-photo diary

As the sun dance to its own music and the sun worshiper trance with the joy it brings .I finally started my own way of sun dance. I packed my bags and armed myself with sunny attitude to start my summer love sweet escape.

I’m such a sun worshiper. I love the heat as it envelopes me as I walk outside. The sound of waves, salty air, the clear skies, blazing sun, the gentle summer breeze, and the lazy afternoons flavor the season with passion and warm love.

This is just the start of my summer adventure; so much wonderful things happened to me with my vacation so expect a part 2 of my summer photo diary and next week I’ll be visiting old churches with a good friend and mid of this month I’ll be heading to Pahiyas Festival- a thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest with a grand display of colorful rice wafers, fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts adorning every house in the town…perfect for my lovely camera:)

A life without summer is like a life without love…so life is short and life is good so grab your summer essentials  and sun basked!

Let the fun toast of summer be with you!

  5. I was in the Phillipines for about half an hour back in 1968 when we briefly landed at Clark Air Force Base, which doesn't exist now. That part of the country looked a lot like North Carolina at the time. What is the area called where you had your picture taken?
    Just curious. My email is

Gatsby Party!

As always, the anniversary party was held at Republiq club , Resort world Manila .  holding an anniversary party is a great way to recognize the hard working employees and such a great pleasure for me as  a part of the company who worked hard for my bills and other responsibility. lol This time it seems like a song resonates in my head after the party, it feels like a soundtrack in a movie but nevertheless it was a fun night. Happy Halloween

Halloween here in the Philippines is not like the Halloween in the Western countries. Although it’s a big holiday (comparable to Christmas here), we celebrate it in a different manner. Halloween in the Philippines lasts from the eve of October 31 (or even before this day) to November 2. Due to our strong Catholic background, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 are spent remembering our dead loved ones and these dates will usually find most of us in one place only: the cemetery or the memorial park. We don’t celebrate it with pumpkins or trick-or-treats (although this Western tradition is sometimes practiced in some families / subdivisions here). We celebrate it through candles, flowers, prayers and a visit to the cemetery. You might think we have a very boring Halloween here. I mean, cemeteries, graves, prayers, etc. make it look like a serious affair. Not so. Spending Halloween in the cemeteries is a fun event. It’s like a mini-reunion for families and friends alike, a chance to have fellowship ...
