There's gotta be more to life!

Oh my blog, how I miss theee….I actually wanted to update it, a lot of things have happened and I will try to share it with you in the coming days. I guess the most pivotal is visiting home 3 times within the past 4 months. The place where I belong and love is real. It’s really surprising, even our dogs were mesmerized with my sudden chance. I guess it comes with the age…lol or should I say I become part of the animal kingdom with the highest stage of brain surgery…mature..lol. As you grow old spending time with your family matter most. Life is short, this is the best way to live the so called life. Along with those long home vacations which mostly spent at home and the beach, I was able to write some sensible in  a most acceptable manner that my 16 gig brain cells can do. 1. Say Thank you a lot. This is truly one of the most powerful, underrated phrases in the English language. It packs a heck of a punch, encompassing positivity and impact in two little syllables. ...

Roar

Animal print is trendy yet so challenging to wear. The key here is moderation. If you opt for an animal print top, it’s a big NO to partner with the same print unless you want to look like an animal kingdom.  I believe that animal print has most impact when it forms a focal point of your outfit- not the entire outfit. One of the easiest ways to wear it is by teaming them with black, white or neutral colours. This is such a crisp, timeless look.  Denim and chambray are also considered neutrals and they also make good leopard print partners. Ok! enough with the roaring and katy Perry lyrics:) via my instagram via my instagram  I think I'm in the prime of my life that nite..lol Life is Good!

An affirmation that flowers are good expense

Back as a kid, I would love to pick a handful of wildflowers and putting them on empty jar. It’s just one of the random things I love doing other than swimming all afternoon and picking up seashells at the beach. Today, as an adult living in the fast paced city life. I realized, I have become one of those who love buying and taking pictures of flowers. (not the expensive arrangement from a flower store that cost an arm and a leg).  A habit I’m trying to continue each week. It’s nice to buy things that simply make you smile.  If only I had the photography chops and a perfect natural light coming from an open window. My photo's would be divine. Which a factor that I should consider if I plan to look for a new apartment. but for now, I just need to change the paint to white and a good wall lighting will do the trick. I would buy flowers during Sunday at Legaspi flea market and Wednesday at the right side entrance of Baclaran church, they are fresh and pocket frie...

H&M Philippines

You might be one of those who had been eager to have a peek, shop and saved moola since first hearing the widespread humor that H&M(  Hennes & Maruitz store) was opening in Manila. People asking: is it true? When? Whichever category you were in, face the truth you have been made aware, consciously or not. How could you not? There was infinite surge of H&M model clad bigger than life billboards in Edsa, flooding instagram photos, twitter and in facebook. The campaign was quite massive. Let’s admit it! So yesterday it finally happened. The Swedish fashion brand opened its door in the Philippines at SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall. Hardcore fashion lovers and goers lined up as early as Thursday afternoon thou a private party for VIP shoppers got a preview before the day it was opened to public which charmed countless Filipinos because of unending updates of their social media accounts. I did not of course, manage to be among the first few shop...

Try : Colbie Caillat

The video was first posted to you tube on July 8 and it struck a chord with viewers. It has been viewed  21, 21,269.942 billion and had generated lots of passionate debate. The song has a powerful message about appearance, acceptance and society expectations of beauty. I love Colbie Cailat music since her first debut album Coco released in 2007. What I love about her is that she wrote and sings about simple, everyday things in an unassuming manner.  Every song has a soulful swing and sunny tunes which is hard to compare to other artist. In her new single Try, from the album Gypsy Heart,  She stance against so-called perfection, encouraging women of all ages to embrace what they already have as they strip off the layers of make-up for the camera. The clip features woman in diverse ages, races and boy type are shown singing along to such poignant lyrics as “When you’re all alone by yourself, do you like you? One woman also removes a wig to reveal a ...

Let it go!

Yes, I went away for an extended holiday with my love…this blog with the full intention just to give more time for myself, to enjoy every moment of so called life and to straighten up some little issues. I don’t know exactly what happened, except that I was literally in a different world and I was having a good relationship with my bed. It was soo beautiful. To be honest, I did not feel like touching my laptop. I felt out of groove, out of touch with reality.  My depression wouldn't go away. I don’t want to simply post an excuse...“I just don’t have time” the lazy procrastination monster.  I knew there were things to be taken care of, I was even questioning if there was a purpose to it all.   This post is probably really boring. I think its okay, it’s not like I have a professional blog right? I can choose to be a little self-indulgent:) I was scared to look at my blog. Fearing all the fellow bloggers have given up on me.  It’s no fun without having supp...

Run in a dome!

Oh my blog how I miss theee….I actually wanted to update it, a lot of things has happened that are worth sharing but I guess I was so lazy. Work still eats a big chunk of my time. I’m not complaining! I love my job:)  It pays my bills. My sister was also in town and stayed with me for a whole month in my little box rented apartment. So I have to make sure I have food! So a trip to grocery every other day is a must.  She is such a monster, a morning person. She needs to have breakfast if not, she turn into dungeons. It was a test of physical, mental and emotional strength. She broke my monthly allowance. For the month she stay with me, she though me one thing, to eat good food…healthy food. She knows that I’m living a not-so-exemplary lifestyle. If I have seen this coming, I could have just close my door. Leave a note. I’m on vacation. Go and find a place for yourself…lol Well, I’m just human with a bigger heart than my mouth.  I’ve welcome her with boxes of J...

The Real Deal

Things aren't always going to be fair in the real world, that’s just the way it is but for the most part you get what you give. Let me ask you all a question. What’s worse: not getting everything you wished for or getting it but finding out it’s not enough? The rest of your life is being shaped right now with the dreams you chase, the choices you make and the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time and the rest of your life starts right now. — Haley James Scott, One Tree Hill nobody can save you but yourself. you will be put again and again into nearly impossible situations. they will attempt again and again through subterfuge, guise and force to make you submit, quit and/or die quietly inside. nobody can save you but yourself and it will be easy enough to fail so very easily but don’t, don’t, don’t.just watch them. listen to them.do you want to be like that? a faceless, mindless, heartless being? do you want to experience death be...

As always, the anniversary party was held at Republiq club , Resort world Manila .  holding an anniversary party is a great way to recognize the hard working employees and such a great pleasure for me as  a part of the company who worked hard for my bills and other responsibility. lol This time it seems like a song resonates in my head after the party, it feels like a soundtrack in a movie but nevertheless it was a fun night. The Happiness Project of Stress

Having a Boss who encourage you to be the best you can is such a blessing.  She was right… I should count my blessings! Last week I had misunderstanding with my co-worker who is actually from different Department. I tried to be logical with the situation and I couldn’t find any reasons to blame my Self.  I easily get stressed out with situations like this not because it was my fault but the stress I’m giving to that person but moving on I learned from it. I have to adjust and understand too few people who want the world to understand them. Okay! I can’t just delete you in this world. I’m not that bad so I’m giving all the understanding you need so when time comes when I need it, you give it all….the world…lol And my first instinct is to eat when I am stressed out and a little shop therapy.   I’m in relationship with this brand for the last 4 months.  It is one of the first range of affordable and genuinely natural products in the Philippines....

How's your Valentine's day?

My Valentine’s Day was a bit special. What I though was going to be the usual stay home and watch sappy love movies with popcorn and beloved cheap wines. What I’m trying to say is that when your boyfriend is out of nowhere to be found you got to make that day special in your own way. Here’s how it all panned out: Morning Love.   I bathe my love! I guess it goes with the saying man’s best friend and best of all they love you back:)   My boyfriend...lol   Online Shopping . Fifty shades of Grey

Fifty shades of Grey or better known as “mummy porn”. First published as en e-book, it has outstripped both JK Rowling’s boy wizard and Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code by selling 550,000 copies quicker than any other paperback. source I love how the author took this whole exploration of sexuality thing and set it to the back drop of a major life milestone. I enjoyed how Ana’s friends and family all commented on how she was changing. My favorite part of the book is the email dialogue between the characters; it was the highlight of the book for me. It’s where the real honesty of the story lies but I don’t know if I would recommend this for my friends or others? Maybe:). The book is categorized as erotica by publisher but not descriptive enough for erotica. I think this is a good proving ground but if you like it then you may be ready two move on to a more intense read. Who has read it? Feel free to share your reviews.:) Oh yes! Christian Grey you blow my mind! you stretched half of its ...
