Better Person- try my luck!

Now I’d like to propose something. That I should make up my mind. Right here and now, to actually do it tomorrow- just as an experiment. I don’t have to tell anyone what I’m up to and no need to recruit others. I need to do it on my own and no big deal out of it. I just need to wake up with the attitude that no matter what happens throughout the day, I’m going to live the very best I have to offer. To live life in a way that makes me a better person. I guess this could change everything! Seriously I have to do this! Life is good! Photography by me

10 Questions

I got tagged by my beautiful girlfriend Maria  to answer the questions bellow and sorry for the late post. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. So here it goes with my honest answer:) 1. Why did you create the blog?      I’m vulnerable and dreamy so I need a venue for my thoughts and a home for my photos. 2. What kind of blogs do you follow?       I love to read all sorts of blogs from Collaborative, tutorial, travel, culture, fashion, lifestyle, personal and   photography. 3. Favorite makeup brand?     I love make up! Putting makeup on is like painting. It involves different strokes to smoothen out the base of our face like a plain canvas. It define the lines in our face that need to be accentuated and our cheeks may become as rosy or sparkly bronze as it can be and when properly applied, the end  result will be a wonderful masterpiece just like that of Picasso or Michelangelo: a face that could launch  a thousand ships, just like Helen of Troy.  I don’t have a ge

Has Your Horoscope Changed?

I’m not the type of person, who relies on mysterious-sounding locations of stars to determine my personality and outcome in life. All I know is that my birth date falls on Sagittarius.  I’m not here to ask your opinion or question you if I need to believe in horoscope. I just want to share this new information that I read through online. via The astronomers from the Minnesota Planetarium Society found that because of the moon's gravitational pull on Earth, the alignment of the stars was pushed by about a month. See the Best Portraits from TIME 2010. "When [astrologers] say that the sun is in pisces , it's really not in Pisces," noted Parke Kunkle, a member of the group's board. Your astrological sign is determined by the position of the sun on the day you were born, so that means everything you thought you knew about your horoscope is wrong. It turns out that astrology has had issues from its inception. (Aside from the fact that it tries to link per

Black Swan- movie

How was your weekend? I meet my old friends and had a psychological assault a rapturous experience with the movie Black Swan at my lovely sister Menchie place. via  Black Swan” follows the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother Erica (Barbara Hershey) who zealously supports her daughter’s professional ambition. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Mila Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers

A dinner for 2

I just had a wonderful night. A late dinner with a good friend to celebrate his new work, new wardrobe - It took us a whole Saturday to revamp his look. So goodbye to loose shirts and jeans. Hello Polished look. We had our dinner at Cafe Go-Go. The place is not your typical coffee shop with its different shape wood tables, comfy coach, big chairs and carefree interior accents. The interior lighting is relaxing, but not to the point of making you doze off. It reminds me of my fave third place, when I was trying to be scholarly and finish my master degree for MBA. So I guess this place would be on my top list. A place where I can just relax, play, and bond with the people closest to me. Thank you to my good friend for the lovely night and for showing me to never be afraid of changes in life..to embrace it, enjoy it, to improve my life. I realized that we can change some things that we think we can not. The key to being able to change things that seem out of our control is to open o

Loving myself

Yesterday morning I was hoping that I can visit BRO. So wake up early in the morning but still  I failed. I took the wrong bus so I ended up having a cup of joe and sweets at Krispy kreme perfect for the cold weather.  I’m not a big fun of sweets but Krispy Kreme are completely and utterly heavenly for every donut lovers. A store dedicated entirely to supplying sweet toothed customers. They are famous for their traditional glazed ring doughnut. It is plain but simply offers the best taste. The dough has such a light consistency that it basically melts in your mouth.    They are offering…a choice of classic Krufin or Cinnamon Pull Apart with brewed signature coffee for 99 php/ $2.25 such a good deal.  I’m a cinnamon lover, so anything with cinnamon, I always need to try.  Cinnamon Pull Apart has a hole in the middle and it’s filled with cream topped.  It wasn’t too sweet and the muffin was really soft, like it’s even melting in my mouth along with the cream.  The coffee is rich in

Happy New Year

How did you celebrate New Year? After work two of my handsome and dashing boyfriends drag me to Eastwood City countdown to welcome 2011. Most of the restaurants were fully booked that night so we ended up at Something Fishy , good enough for our hungry stomach. I must say I loved that night. The spirit of the crowd are full of excitement as the clock strike to welcome 2011. Confetti and fireworks was divine! We concluded the night with a bottle of wine and beer at Martin place. Get wasted until 6:00 in the morning. Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a wonderful and fun filled New Year! Life is good! Photography by me and Paolo
